Hotel Agistro - Angistron

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rooms were spacious and had both a balcony and a large terrace, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. The highlight, however, was the breakfast - one of the best I've had in Greece, with a wide variety of delicious options, including homemade Greek yogurt.

Great location close to the border. Clean facilities with friendly staff. Beautiful view of the mountains. Decent breakfast with a variety of options.

The showers had no doors which made the bathroom floor always wet. Our room looked and felt old, balcony furniture was dirty and made it hard to find a place to dry our wet swimsuits.

The hotel itself was quiet, clean, and well-equipped, providing everything I needed for a comfortable visit. One highlight was the family apartment with both a balcony and a large terrace, offering breathtaking views of green plains and hills, as well as a stunning mountain ridge. The hotel also had its own parking and a beautifully maintained garden, adding to its appeal. Lastly, the breakfast provided was one of the best and most varied I have experienced in Greece, further enhancing my overall experience.

The hallway and room had an unpleasant odor due to lack of ventilation, which was a minor downside to our experience.

Great pool and excellent restaurant on site. the view over the surrounding area is amazing, something you can enjoy during breakfast.

The cleanliness left a lot to be desired, particularly in the bathrooms that hadn't been cleaned properly. the staff also wasn't very friendly or helpful.
